Cut & fold lamp

A quick and dirty lamp made out of paper and glue.

I needed a table lamp but I knew I wasn't gonna use it all the time. I didn't want to buy one . So decided to make one. I had wide variety of paper lying around in the house so I thought I will use that as the material. The blue one is a sample I tried out. Then I started to get greedy and wanted one where I can adjust the angle. Used a 12V LED strip with an adaptor of same voltage with 5.5mm jack.

After a few uses the base started to unfold, distort and become flat. I tried sticking some strips to keep it together but the load is clearly visible. I didn't attempted to fix it because it stays upright and provides sufficient amount of light so I didn't bothered to change anything. But yes base needs to be more rigid in case any one is trying to make a lamp out of paper.
